High taxes make Dutch petrol most expensive in Europe
Petrol in the Netherlands is the most expensive in Europe, thanks to high taxes, according to research by German motoring organisaation ADAC. The organisation says a litre of petrol costs an average €1.78 in the Netherlands, compared with €1.64 in Belgium and €1.55 in Germany.
