BUDAPEST, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese divers continued to impress with three gold medals on Day 12 of the 19th FINA World Championships here on Wednesday.

In the mixed 3m/10m team event, Bai Yuming/Quan Hongchan finished at the top with 391.40 points, while French divers ALexis Jandard and Jade Gillet followed more than 30 points behind (358.50). British divers Andrea Spendolini Sirieix and James Heatly won the bronze with 357.60 points.

Li Yajie shone in the women's 1m springboard with an impressive result of 300.85 points, the only diver to pass the 300 threshold. The match for the silver was extremely tight as Sarah Bacon (276.65 points) from the United States finished second before Canadian Mia Vallee (276.60) with an edge of 0.05 points.

In the last diving final on Wednesday, China's Lin Shan and Zhu Zifeng won the mixed 3m synchronised with a more than comfortable advantage, 324.15 points, ahead of Chiara Pellacani/Matteo Santoro from Italy (293.55) and James Heatly/Grace Reid from Britain (287.61).

The open water swimmers got back into competition after one-day rest, with Dutch swimmer Sharon Van Rouwendaal (2:02:29.20) won the women's 10km and Italy's Gregorio Paltrinieri and Domenico Acerenza finished 1-2 in the men's 10km in 1:50:56.80 and 1:50:58.20 respectively.

Currently, China stands at the second place of the medal table, between the leading U.S. and Italy.
