BEIJING, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang on Monday held phone conversations with Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero respectively.

While talking with Hoekstra, Qin said China looks forward to working with the Netherlands to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen exchanges at all levels and push for new progress in the open and practical China-Netherlands comprehensive cooperative partnership.

China stands ready to strengthen cooperation with the Netherlands in such multilateral areas as climate change, and jointly maintain an open and orderly international trade environment rather than a fragmented and chaotic one, Qin said.

When talking with Faisal, Qin said President Xi Jinping's recent presence at the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit and his state visit to Saudi Arabia have scored complete success.

He noted that China is willing to work with Saudi Arabia to implement the outcome of the summits, lift China-Saudi Arabia, China-GCC and China-Arab relations to new levels, and build a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era.

Qin added that China stands ready to strengthen the China-GCC strategic partnership, better safeguard the common interests of the vast developing countries, and uphold basic norms governing international relations including non-interference in internal affairs.

During phone talks with Cafiero, Qin said China and Argentina are good friends and good partners, adding that China is willing to work with Argentina to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of the two countries, carry forward the good tradition of mutual respect, treating each other as equals, and win-win cooperation between China and Argentina, so as to promote greater development of China-Argentina comprehensive strategic partnership.

China will, as always, support Argentina in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, Qing noted.

The Chinese FM said the two sides should promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, adding that China supports Argentina in playing a bigger role in international and regional affairs.

Foreign ministers of the tree countries expressed their willingness to strengthen exchanges at all levels and enhance cooperation in various fields with China, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the countries and advance bilateral relations to a higher level.

Qin and Hoekstra also exchanged views on the Japanese government's decision to discharge nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean. Both sides agreed that such an action concerns human health and the marine environment, on which they agreed to maintain communication.
