TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Dutch forward Mitchell te Vrede joined Iranian football club Gol Gohar.

The 32-year-old striker has penned a one-year deal with Gol Gohar.

Gol Gohar, headed by Greek coach Marinos Ouzounidis, is a favorite to win 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL).

Mitchell te Vrede has formerly played for Excelsior, Feyenoord, Heerenveen, Boluspor, NAC Breda, Al-Fateh, Abha, Al Dhafra and Hatta.

Born in the Netherlands, he represents the Suriname national team at the moment.
